In twenty years of operation from the company's UK base in Wokingham, Schaffner has produced literally hundreds of custom filters and chokes, ranging from simple changes to packaging or termination to full-custom solutions to specific suppression problems. But all have one thing in common: by providing the perfect solution for each application, they offer the optimum combination of performance and cost-effectiveness by avoiding over-specification and saving both space and component count.

What's more, using a custom component does not necessarily mean a delay to the finished product. The custom unit is geared to providing prototypes on extremely short lead-times - in days rather than weeks, and on occasions in as little as 24 hours.
