In late 1997, Fair-Rite China opened and began to manufacture nickel-zinc ferrite EMI components for the Asian market.
In 1990 Fair-Rite started manufacturing absorber tiles for anechoic and semi-anechoic test chambers, and is now the dominant supplier worldwide of these materials.
To improve competitiveness in the North American market, Fair-Rite started a Manufacturing facility in Monterrey (Mexico), which was fully operational by 1999.
Over the last ten years, Fair-Rite has supplied all the manufacturers of automotive air-bags with shield beads for the air actuators, and in 1994, added a dedicated manufacturing line to manufacture multi-hole plates for filtered connectors used in engine control modules for automobiles and trucks.
To meet the requirement of the European market for standard quality systems, Fair-Rite became ISO/QS 9000 certified in 1997.
