Schaffner Ltd, the Wokingham based world leader in EMC components and test systems announce the introduction of a new service to EMC test laboratories. Independent test houses may now request a free EMC “Wall Kit” for their facilities, to provide on-the-spot remedies to unwanted emissions.

Schaffner and Fair-Rite have combined their efforts to supply the “Wall Kit” which contains over 30 45 EMC suppressing suppression ferrite components in four different materials for filtering over different the 1MHz – 4GHz frequency range. The ferrites are supplied in convenient wall mounted containers and are arranged by internal diameter and material type for ease of use. Snap-on types are provided side by side with the relevant shield beads solid ferrite cores. As the components are consumed Schaffner offer a free top-up service to ensure a complete kit is always available at the test lab.
